Bunnings fined for selling Mexican Feather-grass

DPI is to be congratulated for prosecuting Bunnings and four suppliers - Ball Australia, Oasis Horticulture, Summerhill Nurseries and Regal Blooms for buying and selling Mexican Feather-grass. One IFFA member commented that this is the first such prosecution they ever remember noticing. We wonder how often it happens.

IFFA members are only too aware of the invasive power of stipoid weeds and we can hope that this species does not become established, however the species is out there now in people's gardens and we all need to be on the lookout for this species. DPI have produced an identification guide
